1. Qualification Standards:

2. The following steps are included in the selection process for Indian Army TES recruitment:

i. Shortlisting: Candidates are chosen for further consideration depending on their performance in the 10+2 test.

ii. SSB Interview: Candidates who have been shortlisted are invited to the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview, which consists of a number of phases including an intelligence test, group testing officer tasks, psychological tests, and a personal interview.

iii. Medical Exam: Candidates who pass the SSB interview must have a medical exam to determine their level of health.

iv. Final Merit List: Based on the candidate's performance in the SSB interview and medical examination, the final merit list is created.

3. The application process can be completed online at the official website for the Indian Army TES recruiting. Candidates must register, provide the essential information, and upload the appropriate files. The recruiting notification will include information about the application procedure, including the dates and deadlines for online applications.

4. Training and Commission: Candidates chosen through the TES entrance go through a year-long Basic Military Training programme at the Indian Military Academy (IMA). Candidates are commissioned as Permanent Commission Officers in the Indian Army after successfully completing the programme.

5. Training Period: Candidates must complete a year of Basic Military Training at the Indian Military Academy (IMA) in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, following successful selection and commissioning. The training aims to improve their leadership, mental, and physical abilities.

6. Service Commitment: TES entrance candidates are appointed as Permanent Commission Officers in the Indian Army. This indicates that they have a long-term career opportunity with the Army and are anticipated to serve for at least 10 years, with the possibility of an extension dependent on the needs of the Army.

7. TES Notification: The Indian Army routinely publishes formal TES recruiting notices. These notices offer comprehensive information on qualifying requirements, the application procedure, key dates, and other pertinent guidelines. Candidates are recommended to carefully read and follow the guidelines in the official notification for the particular TES entry they are interested in.

8. Medical Standards: Candidates must adhere to strict medical requirements established by the Indian Army as part of the selection process. Through characteristics like optical acuity, hearing capacity, general health, and any current medical disorders, the medical examination evaluates the candidate's physical and mental fitness.

9. Preparing for the SSB Interview: The Services Selection Board (SSB) interview is a significant phase of the hiring process. Candidates are evaluated based on their potential for leadership, aptitude for verbal and written communication, and psychological characteristics. Candidates can consult a variety of resources, including books, online study tools, and coaching programmes that focus on SSB interview advice, to get ready for the SSB interview.
